The best thing about the vacation property is the comfort and convenience, the feeling of "home away from home" without feeling confined like a hotel room. Some great amenities included a large kitchen, comfy bedrooms, in-house laundry, heated pool, lanai, TV's, free wireless internet, and 24 property management only a phone call away.
The home was surprisingly immaculate for a rental property, fully furnished and with the full kitchen we took advantage of great savings by dining in with grocery stores like Publix and Walmart minutes away. Whenever we didn't feel like cooking we walked over to the country club for delightful lunches or dinners at really reasonable prices. We enjoyed eating on the breezy balcony overlooking the golf course after a relaxing swim. The staff from the gate guards to the grounds people and club staff were a pleasure to deal with; they even accommodated my son when he asked for cheesecake that wasn't on the menu!
I truly valued the relaxed atmosphere, not feeling the need to rush out each day like when staying in a cramp hotel room; where kids get antsy in a confined space with nothing to do. I heard during the Easter holidays it is quite busy as it coincides with a popular British vacation period, so I would try to avoid that time frame if possible. I honestly love it here and would not even consider staying in a hotel again know that I have found the unparalleled convenience, comfort, security and value of a vacation rental home. In my opinion, it is the best way to stay in Florida.
